Tahoe Donner is located in the eastern region of Truckee, California, within 5 miles of Donner Lake and less than 20 miles from Lake Tahoe.

Established in 1970 as a family resort to include every recreational amenity one could want, Tahoe Donner is now home to over 6,500 home owners and 30,000 members. Originally the area consisted of a saw mill along the Trout Creek and operational railway line from Alder Creek into Tahoe Donner.

Jack Kirby, Tahoe Donner’s developer, envisioned a place where home owners could enjoy all the natural beauty of the area and the Sierra Mountains any time of year. The over 6,000 acres is home to community facilities, single family homes, recreational amenities and much more.

With many amenities for year round use such as Alder Creek campground, Beach Club marina, equestrian center, golf course & driving range, hiking trails, pools, tennis center, restaurants, gym, hot tubs, saunas, cross country ski & downhill ski areas,…Tahoe Donner is considered a four season resort appealing to both primary home residents and vacation home owners.
