The historical architecture and time-tested Old Tahoe feel gives way to the charming community of Lahontan. There is a Boat house on Lake Lahontan which includes docks, picnic areas, community trails and places to relax in the summer.
Camp Lahontan is a great place to visit from one of the nearby towns or counties of California or Nevada and includes swimming pools, tennis courts, barbeque pits and picnic spots as well as sports fields with locker rooms and showers. With the endless supplies of trails and nature walks there is no lack of enjoying the area with the events and community involvement of Lahontan.
