Missing Golden Retriever in South Tahoe
I was just forwarded this email by a client of mine and want to alert everyone to be on the lookout for the beloved Golden Retriever who went missing on October 6, 2012 when she was camping. She made her way to South Lake Tahoe and has been spotted frequently in Myers, in the area of Bob Dog’s Pizza, and on the streets of Blitzen, Wasabe, and Rainbow Tract, also D street by the airport. So she seems to be staying within Myers and South Lake Tahoe. Her family is desperate to find her and doing everything they can.

I was hoping that you could help us. We are missing our beautiful, sweet, loving Murphy. She is described as a 5 yr old female (spayed) light in color Golden Retriever. She is very healthy, about 60 lbs and loves the snow, jump fences, swim and play with her sister Lambeau in the yard all day. Our family is devastated and can’t even begin to tell you how much we miss her.
She was camping with my husband and took off into the woods at Hell Hole Reservoir on Saturday 10-6-2012. She ended up in South Lake Tahoe about a week later running up and down streets in the neighborhood behind the Swiss Chalet Center. She was scared, lost and basically running as fast as she could to find us. We have a home in North Shore, so Tahoe is very familiar to her. It took me over an hour and half to get to South Shore that evening, and was dusk by the time I arrived…I went to the area in which she was seen and did not have much luck. I went up and down the streets looking for her that night.
She is very approachable and will easily find people for help. However, she is scared.
Can you help us find her? We are going on almost 3 weeks without her and we can’t stop looking and I am not sure where else to turn.
What other information do you need from me? I have attached her picture. She was seen with her collar on, it is a brown leather collar with our contact information inscribed in the collar.
Please call us if you know any information on her….we want her home for the holidays….

10/30 – seen infront of Starbuck’s at the Y in South Lake Tahoe
10/31, Seen in the Raley’s parking lot at the Y, Les Schwab tires, between D Street and Don’s Bake Shop, and maybe at the Pine Cone Acre Motel..
Please help find her.
